Move Mee’s Founder & Co-CEO Richard Lowden has been selected to be a Speaker for the 2020 International Car Rental Show which is being held in Las Vegas on the 22-24th March 2020 at Caesar’s Palace hotel. Covering profitability in the next generation of car rental, Richard will be joined by his industry peers including Ludwig Schoenack from Kyte, Bob Barton from Rentalmatics, and Matheus Riolfi from Tint, with moderation delivered by Andrew M Rodriguez from Frontline Performance Group.
Chris Brown from Auto Rental News said “I’m super excited about this panel for the 2020 International Car Rental Show: “Understanding Profitability for the Next Generation of Car Rental. As the process of renting a car evolves, the economics evolve with it. Our panellists will analyse: financial reporting and metrics as vehicles are rented hourly, in multiple platforms, and in subscription models; changing GDS, OTA, and broker relationships in an app-based environment; selling ancillary products without a direct interaction with the customer; how connected car and telematics unlock new opportunities; and finally how profit margins will change in an autonomous environment.”
Richard Lowden said, “I am really pleased to be once again to be invited back by the team at the International Car Rental Show as a guest speaker, the ICRS is a fantastic platform for the industry to share best practice and just as importantly market innovation ensuring that we remain more than relevant within the mobility space.”
Richard went on to say, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to share with the delegates our latest innovations from Move Mee and how our digital services are delivering the next generation of car rental, providing a truly frictionless experience for the customer and just as importantly unlocking new profit centres for both car rental and franchised dealer operations.”
